Sales position
We are looking for a sales person. VT Greens has expanded and need to fill different positions as the season goes on. The sales department will be responsible for meeting new clients, introduce our products, provide solutions for clients, come up with designs and quote out jobs. You will be representing VT Greens and therefore need to be professional, know the product, have a like-able personality and be honest. Landscape Supervisor
We will as well be looking for a Landscape supervisor who can grow our landscape business.
The right person shall be experienced in all aspects of landscaping. We prefer someone with experience in Desert Landscaping. You will have knowledge of the following:
-Desert landscaping
-Rock walls
-Pavers
-Irrigation (drip)
-Water features
-Quoting jobs
-Cost management
-Design/New ideas
-Machine operations
-Landscape lighting, etc
Pay will be primarly based on performance (% of job)

Now that Christmas is close, nobody is thinking about Golf!!!!
We at VT Greens are into our slow season right now. This will give us time to put some thought into the new season coming up. We are booking into homeshows, getting new marketing materials made up and adding some new products to our already great product line.

On November 13 2007, VT Greens travelled to San Diego for installation of a modular Putting Green System on the Carnival "Spirit". Coming from Kelowna, the weather was hot. All turf and tools had to be loaded by a crane from the dock to the top of the boat. After 5 days of hard work we were done, packed up, got of the boat in Mexico and flew home.

VT Greens in Phoenix. This is where Southwest Greens headquarters is located. Southwest Greens has expanded enormously in the last 2 years and had to move to a larger building.
During the few days that we there we were shown some different techniques in both marketing, installation and maintenance of our Synthetic Golf Greens and Synthetic Lawns. Of course going down there in October, it was cold in Kelowna but HOT in Phoenix.
This equipment trailer belongs to Southwest Greens of Bakersfield, CA.
They just joined the Southwest Greens Franchise and of course had to show of their new equipment. Keeping equipment in good working order and showing up at the job site with an organized and clean trailer/equipment is our goal.

Because we can design and incorporate all kinds of different breaks, contours, undulation, different grass depths for chipping, differences in speed, etc. - Jim finds it to be the ultimate MUST HAVE product for any golfer. Especially the kids.
VT Greens finished up the 3 Golf Greens at the residence bordering Sunset Ranch in Kelowna. The owner could not believe how well the green held the ball. Just like the real thing.
This particular golf green product/turf and the construction of the green make the ultimate playing surface. Maybe the good old Nylon Putting Surface putts alright, however if you are after a real bent grass style green that performs and looks like the real thing, there is no alternative to a Southwest Greens Product. - The Pros Know -

CHRISTMAS LIGHT INSTALLATION IN KELOWNA, AND CENTRAL OKANAGAN
We at VT Greens had a very busy installation season. Now that it is getting closer to colder days and nights we have time to do some other things beside installing synthetic turf and putting greens. Last year we installed Christmas lights in Kelowna for several people that were not comfortable climbing ladders. If you have chrismas lights that you would like installed, give us a call at 470-8873 and we would be more than happy to do that for you. As well other odd jobs that you need done do not hesitate to call us. This will keep us busy throughout our slow season.
